IFAW reaction to guilty verdict on the League’s Private prosecution of Anthony Wright, Exmoor fox hounds August 4th 2006.

IFAW is delighted with today’s historic verdict, which sends an unequivocal message to hunters that no-one is above the law. This ruling should silence the critics of the Hunting Act. Hunting with dogs is a wildlife crime – those who continue to ride roughshod over the law in pursuit of cruelty are inviting prosecution for their criminal behaviour.
